Well you see most of the time I'm scalping, and that is why I'm using the 5min and 15min charts. I have started with them and learned to take those 10 pips profits, as I usually don't like to leave positions opened after I leave the computer.

i think moving avarage is a very good way to catch a trend. the only bad thing or disadvantage about it is that it gives the signal after the price action so u get a bit delayed and miss the initial pips of a trend.

it is one of the most popular indicator to the forex trader ,by using this indicator we can idea what will happen in the next .i personally use the indicator when i want to open a trade and maximum time i get good result form this indicator, i use two levels 30 and 70 ,when market over 70 it speak over bought.

aan bhai ye indicator bahut hi badiya hai. lekin isko use karna itna easy nahi hota hai. kyun ki iska cross signal tab milta hai jab MA 70 pip cross kar deta hai tab ye chart mein signal deta hai. isko use karne ke liye kafi experience chahiye main ishi baat par kafi confuse hoon.

Moving Average ki do basic kinds hai jo bohut important hai
1. SIMPLE MOVING AVERAGE (SMA)
2. EXPONENTIAL MOVING AVERAGE (EMA)

I use now Moving Average this settings-
1)Moving Average 50,0,Expontentil ,high
2)Moving Average 50,0,Expontentil ,low
3)Moving Average 50,0,Expontentil ,close
4)Moving Average 200,0,Expontentil ,close
But i do not know about your settings

basically I think that moving average will have one thing that may be very detrimental if you are not able to master, such as repaint and also make the awkwardness that often you should have a filter indicator as an amplifier.

I don't use the moving average for my analysis although I know of some persons that use the moving average for their trading analysis, and some persons would complain that the moving averages are lagging indicators and we can't use them alone, we must use them with other indicators.

As far i know moving averages book as redeeming living or status levels and so wage worthy chance to trade when prices are moral these levels and so saving travel place is prospective.
