you must be having a very good strategy or a good trading analysis, as you are trading with a risk to reward ratio of 1:2 that is a very good trading practise, if you are trading exactly with this goal and are successful than you are really a good trader
i continuously trade with stop loss and also the stop loss is regarding 150 pips and profit is 50 to actually 100 to actually purpose. i'm continuously purchase at oversold zone and sell at overought. and earn smart profit.

as for as i am concern the loss is very common in the Forex, so we should be more careful in this cases, I think that we all trader should have basic qualities that when market goes low or high, trend line etc, we should calculate my profit including some loss and remind that there is no gain without loss.enter the market in right time and leave the market on exact time and take your profit.that the perfact stop loss strategy.
Mybe You don't makes any planing while trading, my friend.The planning times is before you start any trades.And during trading all you do is following your strategy rules to the letters. Otherwise you'll be bound to loose every times !!!
Some of my friend suggest me to use profit:lose 2:1, but i think this is really hard to do. For myself, i love to make profit:lose 1:2. Even we lose once we can get profit 2-3 times. If we lose two tome in a row, then stop trading in those day. We need to build up our emotion and try to follow our technique. When we get lose and lose, we usually can't think clearly, so its better tp stop trading until we got our emotion back.
Certainly that the perfect stop loss is the stop lossing that can't be hitet many times per days.and it should be away from the current price in a strong place that act as a support lines !!
i am trading long term so in my long term trading my first and last stop loss is 300pips.
now day i am trading and learning scalping but i am really can not find out what is the right stop loss..
i test in demo i find if i trade near to support and resistance then there is no need to set stop loss trade will close with 10pips tp.
so i dont use stop loss in scalping trading but i use trailing stop..its give me profit if my trade move in profit.
A perfect stop loss is truly set through making the right plans and thus following it judiciously as we are trading in the forex markets. It all has to do with the correct plan that a trader makes at this points.Quote:
