I think there is no limit that we definitely have to practice in a demo account. As long as we still need a demo account to find strategies that fit or match with us, then at that time also we do not get out of the demo account and then switch to a real account, because it could jeopardize our trade further, because not feel confident with the strategy that we have try the demo account.

minimum 2 months, exercise contain of trading plan, figure out the rule of trade, how to enter the market, exit strategy, and money management system ( lot used).
it's better to focusing on single pair, and within 2 month we got to know the charatectistis of that pair, including : price range (average, minimum, max), best time to trade, any fundamental news correlated to thus pair.

well sometimes and get a beginner minimum 3months is recommended, however despite the fact that they will trade well in demo a few fail to perform in live account as they will get nervous.
before i am trading with my real akun in forex, i just pratised with my demo akun for only one week. after one week, i found i have known the trend and knowing when to buy or sell the ucrrency pair. while several trade later, i found i know nothing about forex trading. only one week for me to trade in forex is not enough for me, more time may be needed. i think 2 months may be a better choice.

i think it will depend how understand they can trade in forex market , even that they already
know forex trading in one month but they already know about price movement ,they can trade in real forex market.
agar hum real main trading karna chahty ha to humay chahy kay humay demo account ko use karna chahy agar humara mind aur talent kafi best ha to humy sirf one month lagay ga demo account pay sub pata chal jay ga aur agar nai ha to kafi time lagay ga.
I think we should exercise always in demo accounts until we all get enough knowledge on Exchange and it resources, after the understanding of knowledge sufficient so you are able to account for the actual stay of realization
