yes its really great because everyone trade in forex for this . i dont know much more about stock but after reading time of stock i think forex is the best idea for parttime trader.
forex market works 24 hours per day , so we can choose the most appropriate time for trading , but stock markets work at most 8 hours per day , so forex is better
