dear actually there is no doubt that demo and real account is both imporatnt for forex trading business. But demo account is also imporatnt before open real account. Because demo account is major thing for froex trading. Demo trading is practicing trading and it helps to make real money in forex market .
well to me i personally think as a beginner trader demo account the very important role and far more important than the real account, but for traders advance then they also should not underestimate the demo account, because sometimes they also need a demo account.
well dear I really consider you should not invest all your capital in one business. you should be able to divide your capital wisely. because every business has its own risks. maybe you can divide your capital, between the forex and real business, such as property.
well in fact I personally think demo is important tool, but without a real account then the demo account would be useless, because our goal is to use a demo account to be able to master the basic thing which we can not do in real account, because they is too risky.

In demo account there is no fear and emotion, i am earning near about 10000$ in a month since last three month, but in real trading account i lost near about 50$. Still i am in forex business and try to recover the lost amount and do hard work regular basis and also search of opinion of expert member's technique.
Demo account is practice account real money and emotions are not involved in it and forex brokers give us a very large capital
