i think fundamental analysis is stronger than the technical analysis, and the impact of fundamental data is strong over technical data. but affective fundamental data is very few but very string to change the trend of the price.
Hope i don't sound rude but that strategy is not workable for a long time not to mention that when the market goes sideways to lose since both the buy stop and sell stop will be opened as trades so one of the trades will automatically lose, we should strive to come up with a trading plan that works best all the time for us and we should stop at nothing until that comes to fruition.

You can use this technique but there is a disadvantage of this technique during high impact news, because market makes huge spikes during high impact news and your both orders can be activated, and your account can go in a hedge situation and that would not good for you, so its better to wait for the news result and than trade accordingly.

These is a wrong way for trading forex, this method of trading I have done in the past years before but it never work for me, buying and selling same time will be the worst method of trading of all time, using pending order same time means you don't really no where the market will go.
