Yes I also agree with you that the best way to learn to trade forex is just start trading in forex,but I think every new trader should start only on demo account first ,while trading on demo the should read books on foreign exchange and analyzing economic news.They should also start writing and reading threads on forex forum as soon as possible.After having enough money for investment and developing a profitable strategy they may immediately start on real trading.
There is no best way to learn how to trade in forex except we tried to trade by ourselves in the market. We can learn about
theorities how to trade well in certain condition but we should try to implement it too. Forex is not only about theory but it's

This is really a bitter truth, we can learn anything without doing it,. Practical experience is more important that the theory. Hence we must keep trading even if we are making small profit with low lot orders. So instead of trading with large lot and risking our account we must keep trading with low risk trades.
It is true trader can learn from trading. But the cost of learning will be incurring losses which traders do not like to experience. Therefore it is better to learn from demo account and trading seriously with real account.

There is no best way to learn forex because each trader has different experiences in forex. If there is mentor, so learning from
mentor is the best way but we shouldn't depend on mentor too. Some traders are not so lucky to get mentor so they should learn
by themself. Using forex forum will help them so much but it must be supported with doing a lot of practices in demo account.
I would say that "The best way to learn to trade forex is to learn forex." The more knowledge a trader has about forex the better he performs in the real market. I mean only trading in forex won't enhance the wisdom level, a trader has got to study a lot on the strategies he is going to apply. I've heard beginners giving time into forex learning for 18 hours per day for 1 year. Only after that they went into the main trading and succeeded. I prefer to gain knowledge before pulling the trigger.
