in my opinion the difference between MT 4 and MT5 , are as follows
MT4 is user friendly but MT5 is not
Mt4 is the most popular but MT 5 is not so popular
Mt4 is really very easy but MT5 is complicated

mt5 is newer version and it have new tool bars and many other new features and its difficult to use and its not popular in the market and it does not support all types of indicators but mt4 is older version and mostly traders prefer to use this and for them its easy to use and it support all types of indicators.
Mt4 is good for forex trading because it support to all kind of indicators and also all templates and it is easy in use and mostly traders like trade with this broker. mt5 is latest version and now it is available with some new changes and now it is little bit hard in use every one cannot use to mt5 platform for trading
Meta trader5 and meta trader4 are both of Forex trading software to used for trading platform but i think that, meta trader4 is easy to used and learn than meta trader5 because meta trader5 have some new and advance features so it is difficult than meta trader4.
meta trader 4 is the old software to use and meta trader 5 is the advance software to use for the new generation meta trader 4 has the benefit that it can be easily to understand for the new users but meta-trader 5 is the advance software and it is very easy to used for the old users who are using it on meta trader 4 software.
This is a common difference MT4 is old version and MT5 is a new version. Also MT4 easy to used because people are experience about MT4.
hi dear dono mt4 & mt5 bohat achy trading k softwares hain ... bs baat ye hai k mt4 purana model hai or mt5 b new version hai .. Ziada tar log mt4 hi use karty ku k purana hai or smjhna asan hai .. & mt5 kam log use karty hain ku k ye new hai or thora complex hai .. isko smjhny k lye time chahiye but mt4 se best mt5 hai .. ku k new technology hai ..:)
Their are many differences in meta trader 4 and meta trader 5 platform. Their commands, diagrams, indicator etc are different. Mt4 is easy to use and due to this new traders prefer it for forex trading.
i think mt4 platform was better then mt5 but due to the enhancement of technology we have to move forward towards the improved technologies so i suggest to use mt5 which is the latest version
The only real difference is that, mt5 is a new version so everyone would want to follow the line of innovations, but when it comes to software application, everything is still based on mt4. Like those developing robots would need more time to develop what suits the mt5
