i have been in Forex trading busienss for many years and i have found that most of the traders in Forex trading have a low investments so for the low inverters i would like to prefer short term trading that is just enter in market and get some handsome profit and close your trade
you must be capable of doing both short term as well as long term trading because when market is trending too much short term trading is good way to earn profit in quick way and long term trading is based on your charts analysis..
short term because i have small capital with many time to waste in front of pc
i prever use scalping as you know with scalping i able to use bigger lot and its mean i will got bigger profit
so i will not try long trade before i have enough capital for my fund
i cannot imagine if i using 10$ as my ballance on trade then i have to play on longterm.. longterm trading usually only target 10% profit/month so i will only got 0.1$ thats not enough even for pay electrycity

As a new comer to the Forex trading i use dumpy point trading. But I judge it is outgo to be a elongated word trader in Forex then you can generate profits easily.
As far as my views are concerned then i will always suggest people to stick with long term trading but lower profit margin because if you are taking lesser chances of profit then it means that you are having lesser chances of loss.
bro i like long term forex trading, I trade on 4h and daily chart. I want to do swing trading as it is easier than short term trading. In long term trading you don't have to sit in front of the terminal to view every movement of the market. Patience is required to do long term trading but once you get use to it,,
trading forex in the short term trading i think is good and very profitable , you can easily earn lot of money from the short term trading because most of the time the market moves in the same range on teh daily abaiss
short time time trading is good to earn more profit but also some times short time trading is more risky than if we compared to long time trading, because based on my experience, long time trading like gold, is more predictable than another pairs in short term or intraday trading
