yes you are right that learning is better than earning , most of trader start and don't want to learn just want to earn, some newbies just goes with luck and go into loss because their luck have not any support by back bone (learning concepts) and most of just following signals by any trader and paying him , this is also not good because by this they make their self dependent and also paying money to others

learning is always better Earning knowledge of forex is very difficult to cover all of it.it is accumulated from your experience in each trade.any time you have to learn forex, whether you've got a lot of experience with it.however, you should consider the knowledge you have and how much you lose., should not take too much to get a very trivial knowledge.
