You can choose any lot as per your choice, but to open any lot size, you must have proper money in your wallet and you must follow it as per proper money management rules. Means if you have 100USD at an instance, then your volume must be so that it does not risk more then 2-5% of your capital in the single trade.
forex trading is risky business and in this business if you have a big capital then you try to trade a big lot and earn quick but this is very dangerious for the trader.i suggest you trade with low lot.10 and try to earn a slowly slowly profit and recover your loss.
Higher the ton price a lot of the merchant are ready to earn. however once choosing the scale of the ton merchant ought to think about the amount of trades, obtainable capital.
if your analysis is already good and you play for scalping trading you can use ballance divided with 200pips
but if you still learning for me better you divided your ballance with 1000 for single open position
if you want to make multi open position you have to divided more for your result
the best lot to open an order is 0.05% from the capital, don't start with more of that if you are beginner and a low deposit

I think the lot size is defined by balance if you have 200 usd and you take order on pair is 0.05 then you take the lot size by this formula it is my option formula.200$-0.05/100$*5=lot size.
I think this trick is helpfull to you in taking lot size.
0.01 to 0.1 is a safe lot size which is also helpful to manage your risk. but loss gives more sadness than profit gives happiness. so be careful to select a lot size.

Brother ye depend karta hai k ap ka account kitna hai agar 1000$ ka hai to ap ko 1$ ka lot size rakhna chahye aur aur 500$ ka hai to ap ko 0.50 ka lot size rakhna chahye...
