I like to go for short term forex trading because i am a scalper and i can spare less time for this business. I am doing forex business as a part time job and thats why i prefer scalping or swing trading because a gain of 20 to 30 pips gives me a sufficient amount of profit on my trades.
I own over the long term, but not so long, that at length the intent here to reach many days, I usually hold the position for only a day old. The most important in forex trading I do is consistency in trading where if I was targeting to buy I will always buy and sell instead of turning. This disturbing psychology of trading
Short term trading will be better because we can make more money than if we use longterm trading. we can use longterm trading if we trade with huge capital in our trading account
In my opinion, short time raing is not so many profitable , I think it's very risky but to earn quick money. And long time trading is a very good fore every expert trader . Because long time trading is a makes more profit but need many investment capital...
I guess it depends on the traders.

Trading time totally depends on the your planning and on your money that how much money you are going to invest. It also depends on your strategies and market analysis. If you have huge money in your account then you can invest in forex for long time.
yeh trade per depend karta hai k aaya k aap kis time frame per trading kar rahe ho misal k tor per agar aap trading kar rahe ho 15 minutes k chart per to aap long term trading nahi kar sakte aur agar aap daily ya weekly chart per trading kar rahe ho to aap short term trading nahi kar sakte .
It depends at lot of factors.
1) time - for short term trading you need to have lot of free time, because you have to watch market very closely X at long term trading you can watch market once a day, so you can do your fulltime
2) money - for short term trading you need 10 - 25 time smaller deposit, which is probably the main reason, why lot of traders trade intraday X you need bigger money to start with trading
3) goals - shorterm trader can make around 500 - 10 000 trades a year, so he can achieve much more bigger returns that longterm trader
4) stress - thanks to higher leverage and more trades intraday traders are more under pressure so they have much more higher level of stress than longterm traders
short term forex trading is always better since then you can get in and out of the trade real fast and can monitor for any abnormality that happens during the trade, in long term trade sometimes you get stuck on the wrong side of the trend
