well to me i personally think I use a stop loss and take profit in the ratio 1:2. If I use a target of 10 points then I use a stop loss 20 pips. Perhaps many people are targeting the stop loss and take profit are balanced, but I still prefer to use 1:2 for SL and TP.

Every successful Forex traders are set up their Take profit and Stop loss point according to, their trading strategy. Your policy is also good but, I always set 15 pips as my Take profit and 50 pips for my Stop loss. Because, price is always ups and down in the Forex market. I am also making successful trades in Forex by this policy.
Trading main stop loss or take profit ka proper use he hamain kamyaab trader banna sakta hai.agar aap stop loss ki help kay begair trading karain gay to phir essi trading main experience nahin milta.stop loss kay begair trading safe nahin hai.
My friend I use 30 pips for my stop loss distance from opening position of the market, I think if we can trade with proper strategy and risk management then we can easily get success in trading but finding out the trend and support and resistance area is really tough here.Quote:
