Time frame depends what kind of trade you here,short time frame depends on short term business,long term business depends on long time frame,for long term business you should spend four hour, other hand for short time you spend at least 15 minutes time.

It depends on you what time frame will you use.Basically time frame is very important in deciding trend.You can use 2 to 3 time frame with different combination.I use 15 min, 01 hr and 04 hr time frame.Sometimes i also look for the 05 min time frame.It seems that most of traders prefer 01 hr time frame.

it depends on the traders, for me i am a long term trader and the best time frame for me is four hour time frame because if shows a good trend always for me to trade then the larger once used to see how the trend are going if its long term trades you ca trade with large time flames
