I also have been using line charts for one year and i was comfortable with line charts. I think candlesticks have more information and analysis than a line chart and now my results improved with the use of candlestick charts.

I have learnt alot of books relating to the japanese candle sticks but there is one thing we must take note of if we understand candlesticks effectively we must be ready to combine it with fundamental news report for good confirmation.
