There is actually no best lot value , we use lots in trading forex base on how much that is invested in the business, the highest lot size is 10$ per pips, and it is usually used by traders with large equity in the business, we can make money even with the lower est lot size , it is all about learning and using the right lot size
It fully depends on your capital, trading strategy, money management and also your trading style.. none can tell you which lot to use... When you succeed in demo trading you will got the idea of which lot to use according to your capital.. and there are some environment also when you need to chose different lot size..to stay safe and sometimes earn more..
you can determine which suits your deposit is in your account, so you can determine the number of lots you will use. at least if you have a large deposit you can use a lot bigger but not too big also be significant because if you lose you will be difficult to restore.
I think a good lot is resistance 100 pips. use a 15 pip stoploss your every open position. I think this is the best because we can improve our accounts more quickly and are not at high risk.

usually lot value depend on your capital....if you have capital more then 80$ then you should use lot value of 1 and if you have more then 200$ then you should use lot value of 2 and so on....but its all depend upon your capital
The lot size depends on the amount of capital a trader have. A trader having 100$ as capital have to trade with 0.5 to 1 $ as a lot size but most suitable is .5$ because a trader is not supposed to make a lot size which can eat his./her capital in a few pips.
