Its good to have you own business after the retirement, you have handsome experience in it already and i think you can make more income from forex trading than your job by doing it full time, but you need to control your emotions to make good profit.

l personally will never stop trading manually as long as l dont have some huge savings which can help me and my family.but l also dont want to take this stress as a day trader.maybe in future l will just switch to long term trading which l will have to check my positions only once a month to see my profit.rather than sitting in front of the computer whole-day.
You want to trade forex till you are alive which is a good approach I must say and you want to become a full time trader in time to come if I am not wrong about this. Even I want to do so and want to become a professional trader in future .
You are right as a trader can trade forex for long time if he trades wisely and invest his capital and trade cautiously and aim at consistent profits so that he can survive in these markets and trade for longer interval of time.
