I think it is safer to trade forex on longer term because there is so much good signal not often but most of them are so good with nice potential of making money. lower time frame has so much false or fakes in moving market.
i agree with you that short term trading is too risky.
we need a good trading experience if we want to do trading for short time. in short term trading there is a good analysis comparing to long term analysis.
but there is one advantage the trade close soon no need to wait for long time.
you are right in short term trading there is difficult to find out the right market movement of pair price. beside these analysis is also difficult.
i also like long term trading because its need less analysis.
i am also trying for scalping but in demo account and till i did not find any good result.
Thats mainly depends on you.If you have big capital i would like to say to do long term trading.But to me i'm not willing to do long term as my capital is not so big.I'm now put importance on learning than profit .

I think so, short learn or long are not matter major matter who is trader and how much idea to trad.he has much be a hard worker to do the trad business and all time active to do some thing.

In trading what matters is the time . If you have time you can trade for longer period of time . So if you have time long term process is good for you to make good profit .

sometimes I fell really good doing scalp in a demo account, but if in real account is too difficult to get profit, in the demo I was able to produce many green pips whereas if the real truly disappointing result may be in a demo account was loose and there is no responsibility in managing the accounts so emotions influence decision of transactions,

I think long term Forex trading is better then short term Forex trading. I always believe short term Forex trading always risky and anytime trader loss there all investment and other side long term Forex trading so better for trading. I am try to use long term Forex trading system.
yes you are right with small capital it is better to trade short time as there will be low margin and so i also even trade for short time only and upto now i dont trade more than 5days all my trades but inorder to trade i think we should have morecapital
I prefer short term trading because I want to close my all trades and see the results before sleep but if you have a very large capital you can do long term trade. I suggest short term trade those traders who has small capital because they cannot afford long term trading.

There are many traders in world that like to trade forex using long term analysis as it gives accurate signal for making order and mostly traders follow it so there huge expectations on it.
right there are many traders that find very profitable on long term as compared to short term because on long term chart we can analyze in better than short term.

i like the idea of long term trading, it surely gives you alot of time to think about a trade and make a right judgement.
but right now i have time to trade thats i am into intraday trading,
i use both because unlike the stock market in the forex trading you can take dual advantage by trading in both the directions,, look on the trend and then decide whether to buy or sell
