In my opinion you should only place the risky trade when you are in the situation where you can bear the loss,,and as far as risk per trade concern i think you should not take risk more then 5 % of your capital if you are newbie coz initially the chances of loss are quite high

i have low capital in this trading business and when i make the trading strategy i keep very low risk in my trading strategy although i am earning very small profit but i am glad that my capital is going very strong for this trading business when ever i make my capital strong i will make little risky trading strategy.
You must have to determine the risk that you have to take while trading in the forex market but for that you have to look for the balance and when you decide it then you can easily place the stop loss and take profit for your trade so that you can follow proper money management

High risk and high return is not a good idea in forex trading although some people like to trade like this.
For me, I prefer to earn profits that are consistent with the exact risk rather than having to bet my entire account in one transaction only.

and also for me, I think only 3 percent can take risks because the best way to trade forex is
to trade without emotion and when you take 3 percent of your account, we can not trade with emotion,
