In forex both short term and long term both goal is same that is the profit. if one can do the short or long that is not concern i think. i believe that the chance of getting in trade is the main conern. also to capture in during period is also important.
In my view the short term trading is good, as in short term trading the traders get profit in less time and they are able to control their emotions,as for long time the trader feel difficulty in controlling the emotions, the long term traders need to wait a lot for the good time to take profit, but this is also true that long term trading is more beneficial and profitable.

For me as long as there good probability to begin place, i will begin one. Maybe professional trader use less their time period right in front side of notice, cause their wait for best a opportunity to get obtain the most.
in short term trading we don't need much more money to trade,in long term trading we have to invest more capital money to do trading why because market conditions are not even at every time so we have to invest more money to stop our loss in Forex trading
