I think , your post is totally right every trader must follow before start trading, First read and read and read. Understand the economic indicators which move the market from fundamental side. Understand the main indicators for Technical analysis but keep it simple. By keeping it single I mean that do not use a lot of indicators, just use some selected ones. Then there are many brokers who offer a demo trading platform. You can do demo trading for first time BUT beware that demo trading result can never reflect the results which you would get when you do the actual trading. The reason is that our the way our psychology and trading disciplined work is completely different when the real money is at stake. Start with small amount of money, be prepared to lose and trade with proper disciplined and not as gambling. Above all remember that nothing makes you rich in one day... saying this because this thinking can make or break a trader. You can earn a decent money, most probably better than many investments if you master the trading discipleship.
As for as i concern i think for every good trade always use stop loss and take profit. Forex market is a very risky market and can move from one side to another in few seconds but with stop loss and take profit we can save.
