i think that is better to stay short time trader then to make some analysis in longer period because so much people want to be a part of trader of longer view but it is not possible as many news come all time.

Trading style depends on person to person. if one person likes to trade in a long term then he can go the long term way and if not then short them should be his option. Many new traders also like to scalp which is one of the most risky thing to do but still all the trading time frame depends on person to person.
You should go for long term forex trading. Because if you thinking of shot term you can not have 100% dedication and self confident. But when you go for long term project it will keep you worry free and can ensure a happier life. Thanks.
I prefer daytrading! But it depends on how much time you can stay in front of your computer. If you don't have so much time, then long term trading is better for you, because you can open a position and go do something else then comeback to take a look from time to time. If you have so much free time like me, you can do daytrading.

I never prefer any one of these but according to situation I change my plan, some times long term trading but some times short term trading gives a huge profit so both a equally prefer in trading.
