These are the trading softwares.they differ in their options.mt5 is new version and mt4 is old version.this is the simple description about that.
Yes because i have tested the mt5 software i find it hard to use. I am trying to be conversant with the software and with time i will master the usage. But if i were to trade with my live account, i would rather use the mt4.Quote:

Mt4 and Mt5 working nearly same but has some difference in performing. MT4 is easy and stable in this we can open a position also close the position also easily. Indicators are also useful but I feel that MT5 slightly complicated and this is for experienced traders.
Dear i think metatrader 5 have some new and advanced features and we can do trading advance style with metatrader 5 but we can do trading easily with metatrader 4 because metatrader 4 is so easy to used and learn than metatrader 5.
MT 4 or MT5 mein bohat farq hai q k mt 4 old version hai or mt5 trading software aik new version hai mt4 easy hai samjhane mein jub ke mt5 mushkil hai is lye main ne mt4 ko chose kiya hai trading ke lye jo mare lye bohat zayda easy hai.
The only difference i know is mt4 is more easy to use than mt5. Mt5 is a complicated trader since we are never that before. Then in mt4, you can know all the shortcuts and do trades easily. That is the difference i have found and i dont any other technical differences. So i prefer to use mt4.
MT4 AND MT5 are both platform used for forex trading.both plate form are same with some advance feature.in my opinion mt4 plate form is good and easy for all traders.for learning about this platform first we used demo account.it basic for new comer.
