When you trade in forex market, a extra pain will be in your head. Short term short pain, long term long pain. So i prefer short term trade. Ten or twenty pips in short term is enough for me.

I think it depends on the kind of trader you are. If you are someone with moderate level of equity, and are looking for earning moderately high profits in relatively shorter period of time, then you should definitely look for short term forex trading. But if you have high equity and are looking for huge profits, then you should go for long term forex trading.
i want to say that i am always doing short trade.because my capital is very small.also in short time trade there is more chances to win.in long trade the time is taking too.so for me short trade.
It depends on trader to trader so every trader has planning according to his mind and working environment. So experts traders do trading as long term because they have full fledged knowledge and info regarding forex but there is also a group which do trading as short term because they do not have enough knowledge and experience about forex. so it varies from trader to trader. :peace:
well yeh to traders ke uper depend karta hai ke woh long term trading karte hain ya short term trading. start main new traders ko short term trading karni chahye kyu ke short term trading main itna risk nahi hota hai or long term trading wohi traders karte hain jin ke pass trading ka experience zaida hota hai.
I think both are good if we enter in correct time . for me i am mostly trade in short time but sometime also hold the position if think there may be good chance . anyway with small capital its really not easy to hold position long term while its good to make short and make small to handsome first.
