I think we can follow any trend as long as it is the major trend. we do not need to follow the minor trend because the minor trend will often be changed. We need to follow the major trend on H4 or daily timeframe. because the trend on higher timeframe will be more reliable than trend on lower timeframe
Forex market me two trends hote hai ek downtrend hota hai aur dusara uptrend, dono me se jo koi bhi trend humen pata chalta hai humen ussi ke hisab se trading karani chahiye, phir wo chahe uptrend ho yaa phir downtrend humen trend ko follow karne se achchi profit milati hai.

every trend is good to follow on but you should look for the string trading setup because this is the only way that you can earn a good amount of profit dont get hurry to enter into a trade but wait and look for the good and strong trend.
Actually we cannot predict the trend in the market 100 percent accurately. But what we can do is to follow the trend. We never should trade against the trend of the market. If the market shows a downtrend we should look for opportunities which shows sell or downward movements. Because counter trend strategies never work for long and sooner or later we lose money and get frustrated and leave trading.
