Competition is a great way to improve your learning experience, but it is not the best option to be a great forex trader. competition is like demo account that you do not attach so much emotion in opening a trade

Well yes it can increase your skills and also confidence if you can take it the right way. Many of the demo contests are so normal that traders who are not even interested comes and trade the market like hapharzardly which is not welcome to get knowledge. You must be serious if you want to make the most out of the forex market.

Competition is for the expert trader only. It is almost impossible for beginner to won the contest. So i think for beginner, participation in competitions will not increase beginner's confidence. I never participate in trading contest until now, because i think it will be useless, i will get nothing from the contest
