l think is really poor.we should manage our time in trade, because in our life we not just to trade, we also need a society and refreshing. try to manage your time. for me, i just spend one hour per day to trade.Usually i go for 1 m chart. If i am nor able to figure out a pattern, i go for chart of different time period.
How long trader in front of the chart depends on trader' style. if their style is scalping, they will use a lot of time in front of the chart, if their style is long term trader, they don't use a lot of time in front of the chart. i don't like to look at the chart a lot of time, thanks.
dear i am using demo account and i think that without skills you can not earn.i am also getting more techniques for earning because i think that a chart can teach us a lot of things as it has many hidden skills.i am using demo for 4 to 5 hours daily and in this business if you do not spend time then you can not learn.
I usually don't spend too much time in front of my chart but am always online so I always check my trading platform from time to time to see how my trades are going and see If there is need for any trade modification on my orders
too much of everything is bad. Spending 10hrs straight in front of the pc is not only tiring but its not good for learning as well. everybody needs break every 1-2 hours else the learning is not effective and we all know the effect of stress on trading is not positve. so its better to take a break of 10-30 minutes frequently in my opinion
I don't stay a lot of time in front of the charts currently but in the past I was spending a huge time in watching the market and this is a big mistake because I was a beginner and I didn't know that the trader don't have to do that to make a profit , you can analyze the market in a small time and decide if you will open a position or not , if you open a position put the stop loss and take profit then close the metatrader.
I stand in front of the monitor enough to find patterns that allow me to make a diagnosis of that market. the trader can devote the time it deems necessary to have a clear vision of the possible price movement. the forex is a constant struggle between the forces of supply and demand.
To me chart is like an addiction. It works like drag to me. And i think it happens to most of the traders. Though forex is a very risky trading business, traders don't want to move their eyes from the chart. But i also believe that it is not must to follow the chart for a long time to make success. Because forex is a game of mind and if a trader learns a lot and has a lot of trading ability, and if he do long trade, then it is not so important for him to look the cart for long time.
