It is nit fixed because it depends on market and amount of capital. In bad situation normally I use 1:05 volume because it is more safety but when the situation is prefer to me I use 1:2 volume because it is more profitable with small capital so I like it.
in bad situation that when the market condition is bad then it is better to stop trading on that day or for that particular period. but if you want to trade you may trade with as much as less volume as you can. it depends upon your account.
