I am perpetually commercialism with short term as a result of it's the one smart methodology that suits my commercialism vogue. i'm a speculator therefore i'm probing for any smart short term discovered within the market. long run commercialism is additionally smart, although i do not like gap position and look forward to several days to succeed in profit.
I agree whether you are a short-term or long term trader,setting a stop loss is a good strategy to check the amount of loss,its very important to limit the losses for we a seeking good profits at the end so unless we minimize the loss we can't have good profits.
Victoryindia, I depends on the circumstances of the time the market, so there are days that I go to short term. But if the analyzes are pointing to a larger goal in the following days, because there no doubt that I invest in the medium term, long term rarely, but sometimes the opportunity is formed and there I invest too long, but in the minority.
well the strategy must be different for short term trading/scalping and long term trading/ day trading. in day trading you may risk 10% of your account in a single trade, but in scalping if you do that, you will be digging your own grave

I prefer the use of long term trading in forex exchange trading business because it allows me time to do other things, unlike scalping that requires us to be present at any time we want to trade forex on a daily basis.
actually trades don't need to pick only one side (short term or long term forex trading) because there is no restriction and we can use
both short term and long term strategy in this business. short term strategy can bring small but frequent profit and long term strategy can bring big but infrequent profit.
If you are a patient guy , you can choose long terms , if not you should choose short terms . I think long terms or short terms is not a problem . You can test it on demo account and choose the best which can give you a good result .
To make long term trading strategies is better than short term trade because long term trading takes time no doubt but there is less risk level and you get good profit by the long term trading than that of short term trading.
It depends on pair and current situations also, if i talk about euro usd, then i think short term trading is best, because long term traders will have to wait for years for euro to raise again...so it depends on the currency..Quote:
