i donot have any knowledge about the use of indicators because i do not ever used indicators during trading but i think that directions regarding the use of indicators are shown on the terminal but the indicators do not always indicate true value....
First you have to choose which indicators are you talking about , because different indicators are different functioning and you have to know the basic functioning behind the indicator for example if you are need to know about moving average is than it is the past candlestick action of the price action and if you are going to trade with hundred of moving average than it is the hundred past action candlestick price action

there are various kinds of indicators but having the knowledge of choosing the right one is also beneficial and i believe that a trader must go with moving averages, rsi, and pattern grafix as they are really powerful and one can depend on them .
