Actually my dear, for me I absolutely do believe that it depend on you but before trade you have to watch marker movement and anylise the market and then you have to decide to open trade and close trade the expert trader alway trade long time but new trader always s use short time because in Forex much experience is beter slow time and slow trade is best for you.
well obviously my dear i think that as long as your have margin to maintain your open position, then you can keep it opened as long as you want. There are people or things which will close your positions except yourself. But if you dont have margin to maintain your open position anymore, then you will get margin call and stop out
Well actually my dear, with me, I clearly do believe if you are scalper trader than you can wait for one week if you are long trader than no need to close manually It do not closed automatically by broker. So keep your margin high if you want to trade long term.

It depends on the broker you are using. If your trade remain open in the weekend days then your trade will remain open forever. The long term traders use monthly and weekly charts and their trades remain open for long time even for several months. But your trade should be logical and based on analytical thinking.
well dear, in my opinion I personally believe to ensure free trade, we need a sufficient balance so you do not get a margin call if there is a time limit for us to open a position. I kept my position open for a maximum of two months.
You can keep your trade open for the profit point.,if you created your Technik properly. Need your backup support, if your backup can be carry you the point for. It completely depends on you. So I think should be analysis market proper and perfectly then put your trade.
