basically it depends on how much capital you have to invest in...for beginners it necessary to apply trades at small lot sizes because having a low capital its obvious you can only be able to apply small lot sizes.. its nice to make small trades and earn and learn.. in big trades you won't be able to figure out where you made mistakes and won't be able to find them out... and its a plus point that in small trades the losses are small ones it help us to manage our money well.. and also make large mistakes in one go in beginning.

the best one is mini or micro lot size.because we can practice any kind of strategy without having margin call.so mini lots give us enough space to move and to practice and learn more about forex.trading with standard lots will be very costly for newbies since they are still not master and they may loss it anytime
