Agree with TS, This is part of money management. Lower our trade size when we are trading poorly is part of strategy, Just make it safety. Do not let our emotions and ego take part of our money. That was not easy to control emotions. That was happen to me, When i can not control my emotions, i usually open position with big lots. That was horrible. but, after i understand if the real key is the money management i can make better transaction. Play the lots is one of the key.
Tight money management will protect account from quick margin call,despite often get loss few times,but with tight money management will have many chances to throw order with new analysis,although we have good system but if not accompanied with good money management will met with certain circumstances that giving big lossQuote:

yes if you continue to lose more your confidence will down.and then how you will regain that confidence.you need to win some trades.use minimum lot for couple of trade after you start losing.and dont force yourself to win that trade just wait.when you can have your confidence back you can do your normal trading again

all good traders follow this rule.i think trading poorly is not concerned.many traders are successful without loosing more.we must try to prevent ourselves from loss.for this we must have planing.

Poor trade performance puta the trader automatically at back foot and the trade style becomes defensive at the time. It is much advised to stay away from trading for few day so you can reorganize yourself and return with same energy. While taking low volume is also good but not best.
I do that lowering my lot size every time I have two consecutive loses already. I am afraid that my third loss would really deplete my trading capital in to worst condition. Sometimes if I have one lose for the day I just stop trading. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
