Short time trading is sounds good than long term, because most of traders are doing short time position opened & wanna make 2-5 PIPs per day which's almost scalping strategy & I am not doing like that.
Short time trading or long time trading it totally depends on your strategy. I always use short time trading because I can’t afford big loss so that I wait some good signal and open my trade. And with small amount I close my profit. in long trade the timr of waiting more chance of loss and profit more too.
Long term forex market is always more risky than short term market. If we make short amount of investment that brings profit every time will be enough. At the same loosing a lot is not possible in short term forex function.

By long term trading, you should be talking about leaving your trade to run for more than 2 days and with a target over 150 points. If your trade just targets 50 to 100 points and it ends within 24hrs, then that is a short term trade.
i think for long term trading you will require perfect analysis of the trading because if you do some wrong analysis then it can be very lossful for the long term traders
I actually prefer both of these tricks. When you have less amount of money, you should use short term forex trading. Because it has less risk. But if you have invest a huge amount, then it should be always better to use long term forex trading. me too, i prefer used short time than long term because i just have a little funds on my balance and also i really like short term, i can get the profit with fast and as long as i do with careful there is nothing problem with long term or short term

All ways of trading are good. But i prefer short-term trading specially scalping. The reason why is follow this type of trading is that it makes me to asleep me without any tension. I do not hold my positions over the night.
But some people do long term trade for big profits. It is there own style.

Yes you are right. People do not have to go with short term trading for most of the times but they have to do long term trading also. Because if the economic condition of the currency is weak or good from this we decide trend and keep our position for long term. I think in long term we will get more return than short term.
