Well I personally believe and I have read from so many members in this forum that it is mandatory to practice for at least 2-3 months on demo trading before going for your real/live trade. It is a must and the best way to get ready and get your profit out of this business.
The Demo is very nice for the new traders also we can take experiences and learns a lot also we can improves ours self and ours skills we must go for the demo before going to line trading so that we will strongest !!!
I think that demo should be used until you are making solid money all the time. If you are not making money by trading demo then you will not make money in real life. Not only that you will lose money instead, so demo is better to trade.
I think we have to spend 6 months in a demo account to practice trading, I think 6 months is a time efficient way to practice the strategies and psychology
so it would take 6 months to practice trading in a demo account
It may vary on person to get a proper idea of trading environment by doing demo practice. I think at least 2 months of demo trading is necessary for better understanding. Practice with little balance and take a target and try to achieve it. Good luck.Quote:

Well i think it is hard to determine the exact time for spending to learning in demo account because different traders have different abilities.
And the experts trader always using demo for testing the new improvement strategy before applying in real account.
Just pay a while in demo follow for a minimum of 2 to a few months. Then you'd prefer to modification live market to use there what you learned in your demo account. If your live account is not doing well then you'd prefer to travel back to demo follow to fix your errors in trading
For initial stage, demo account is very important and play good role because this is the basic account in which we can get know how and all the info related to forex. we can learn more and more about forex from different sites and from e-books. so i suggest that at least 3 months, we should follow or work with demo account. :)
