WELL, contest and real trading is different. even we can be a winner in a trading competition, it doesn't mean we can make the same profit in real. because trade in real will different with if we trade in contest or demo
if the trader learn and practice and then they try at demo contest or something else like that then they will see their capability with making comparison with the others and then they can know how to develop and increase their systsem ,but look out the overall gain of your account and drawdown you attained etc., even the top three traders at the contest i posted link of, accepted that they are using some ea's that don't work on live accounts, when i contacted them.
yes of course , i agree with you that partiicipate inthe competetion can increase your confidence because you will be experiencede trader in which you can earn a lot of money and making hudge profit by easy way .
I think it runs the forex would be very useful and it would make us more confident and that will be very useful when we are trading and most importantly we have to keep the spirit and should be calm in running forex with so will be very good.;)

i don't thin so, forex competitions will only make us experience the rhythms of the trading high risk and this is very bad for our trading developments in the future. because it's better to use the competition merely comparison
