I think london opening is the best time for scalping because the london market is the high liqidity market and the time frame used gor scalping is depend upon you most of the trader scalp in m15 h1 tonearn their daily target profit so i think m15 is best for scalping

Scalping technique is really very useful for some currency pairs on some specific times of trading. As far as my experience, it is useful on the time when Australian and Tokyo market is going to open. many of the time i observe that market little bit rapidly fluctuate on that time. If we accurately observe that and open short period trade then we can make easy profits through this technique.

There are different kind of scalping strategies, some are trend following while some are counter trends but the general idea is the same which is to make small profit each on several trades. So calm market will be best for counter trend strategies while a trend strategy should be able to perform well any any market condition.
Well from my experonce in scalping i think the best time frame for scalping is M5, and sideways market is good for scalping, but if you get the trend of market then you can use scalping technique to earn money too. Scalper takes risk to get money several times in a day.
