For me I prefer long time forex trading cause this needs to take time for learning and become a successful forex trader. One should practice a lot on the demo account to be as a successful forex trader. Cause lot of practice makes a man perfect. Slow and steady win the race so one should take time to learn forex trade by invest his times !

I prefer to trade in the short term trading. I usually does not have much amount of investment in my account and so it becomes difficult for me to go for the long term trading strategy. I like to trade in the small time frames and I usually try to get 10-30 pips in a single trade.

I trade both short term and long term. if you are taught to trade long term and it is working for you I see no reasons why you will not want to continue trading like that. if you are also willing to learn something new, why not try your hands out on the short term . I was basically intraday trading, I never do long term trading, but if I do not use takeprofit. when I leave my position open without takeprofit, I will only shift the stop losses. so, I'll wait until I touched stoploss. or in other words I did not intentionally do long term trading :)
for me personally their long-term forex currency trading bcoz this presents great good-looking revenue to have this my spouse and i alway buy and sell together with least expensive threat currency trading will be alway a protracted business that's ymca just about every broker should go for long-term.
