yes i agree with you. But in short term, we want to trade all time or always on the platform. If you choose long term trading, just set take profit and wait for the target. And also pending orders is one of the great advantages in our side.
i prefer the short term strategy in the pairs of USD/CHF & EUR/USD because their movement is not quickly than the movement of JPY pairs , so i prefer trading on the long term in the pairs of USD/JPY & EUR/JPY because they move many pips every day

So what do you want saclping or long trade if you understand scalping then do that while For me if a position is opened for more than a day i consider it as long term trade If the position is closed in the same day i will call then 1530 min and 1h4 h dailly monthly base on thes as i would agree on that for a long term it's better to use 10% of your capital and anywhere between 20% or abit more for a short term

I think the way trading depends on the personality of trader and strategy and everything. But I prefer trading with a long term, I'm not satisfied with the small profit and large loss of the short time trader. I used it for sometime and i didn't like it, but long time trading is much better and can make you understand forex market motion well and can make you good trader with time and practicing as a long time trader.
