If you open a trade or more trades and do not close them without any results and leave your trading at that stage than you have to loose your money in any ways and you are throwing your money to a dump.
Watching your open position won't make you mind not to be at rest, you mind won't be settle if you keep watching how your position are going that's why it better not to watch the position for a one time, to make you mind be at rest just open the position and leave the chart.
