yes you are right there is no restriction in opening trade as long as you want,but i think some traders have limitation of 2-3 month per trade which is also good for broker because it saves much of broker time..Quote:

You can keep the trade open as long as your capital or your free margin is able to sustain your losses and when the loss exceeds then you trade will get closed automatically or will get a margin call.
As long as it does not hit the Stop loss or the take profite. :D
it depends on your capital if you have big capital then you do not close until you get it in profit becasue if you do not close no body can close it so you must open a single trade and wait until it is in profit and you close it
main ne kabi bi itne lambe time taq trade open nehe rakhi...main just take profit and stop loss fix karta hun aur apne kaam main lag jata hun aur trade ya to take profit ya stop loss point ko hit kar jati ha aur profit ya loss ho jata ha

G Forex main koi rule nahi ha k ap kab tak apni trade open rakh sakty hain.ap jab tak open rakhna chahye ap rakh sakty hain.ye ap py depend karta ha.or Forex main koi limit nahi ha ye aik unlimited business ha.
If you are a day trader your trade can be opened till Thursday night . Any trade till Friday can be very dangerous. I am talking out of experience. it has happened to me not once or twice,but now I am wiser and will never exceed Thursday 6.00pm for my trades.
Dear friend agar aapke paas big capital hai aur aap low risk letey huey trade kar rahe hain toh aap tab tak apna trade open rakh saktey hain jab tak aapka trade loss ke kaaran stop out nahi ho jaata.Waise aapka trade apne aap broker ke dwaara kabhi close nahi kiya jaata.Hum chahein toh kai years tak bhi apna trade open rakh saktey hain bus humarey paas survive karney ke liye capital balance hona chahiye.
