i think, no one of them is superior than other. each has different advantages for the user. cos each user already has rules in using them.
A technical analyst has different rules and advantages to gain profit in their trading way when compared to others. Fundamentalist is also the same, the have their way to gain profit using their rules. the last one is also like the two before.

I think the all three element, Technical, fundamental, and market sentiment are very important. we should use that all if wanna be winner in forex. the only technical trader will soon colapse during the fundamental wave. i think if you 'technical only' trader, then you should avoid to trade during data release or during any fundamental release. it will save you from a big losses because on fundamental release the market will be very volatile and any technical indicator will difficult to recognize it

In the history of trading that I do, I have tried all forms of analysis, technical and fundamental. Initially I tried to technical, but then failed. Then I focus on the fundamentals, but it turns out here too many elements of speculation going on. The speculators in when news with a big impact on its release, and I always fail to read the direction of prices.
