Yes it is. When the news comes market will take some time to adjust the trend while most of the time market moves rapidly at the level which is to be expected according to the news data. If the news is positive then you can immediately buy the currency.
If anyone does not know how to trade during any kind of news update then it is better to stay away from the trade. It is very important to know the impact of any kind of news update will have on the market. So during this time stay away from trading or wait for market to decide its course and then trade.

I am little confused as to how news time can help scalpers, they are just opening trade for very short time and few ****, yes prive movement may be fast and may be it will be difficult to enter and exit trades so fast and take full advantage of fast movement. Further if you are using right stop loss you dont need to worry much as that what worst can be if news is against you your stop loss may hit.Quote:
