I used to be a long term trader. I may hold my positions even 2-3 months sometimes, i cant able to see the platform all the time. So only, long term trading is suitable for me. In this method also good profit, but we want to wait for a long time to make profit. but i want to try to be a short term trader to get faster profit.
it depends on your own personality and what kind of trader you are, basically long term trading require more patience, so if you don't have patience and you like short term trading try it on demo for few months, if you are profitable keep doing it, if you are not try long term trading as the ultimate goal is to earn profit from the market, doesn't matter long term or short term :)

Of course we can do better trading with large capital but no doubt that people who have small capital can also gain a handsome amount of profit but they need to be short term trader and should trade at least 5 hours in a day.
Its good advice from you that we should withdraw our profit continuously, in my opinion long term trading is more complicated than short term trading so we should focus on short term trading as you said.
