well using big lot sizes always hits in head when the order is wrong.. so it is better to make a good risk management.. and also it is better to open 1 trade at a time and using lot size 0.05 to 0.10.. you should maintain a consistency and that would help to make good profit in the market
Strategy i know for making money with such amount is trading with trendlines. Maybe you wouldn't make money every day with this strategy but you will make minimum 80 pips every trade. Only trade in trending and use mini lot for your trading. As EMA as trendline you can easily take money only to follow EMA move.
