If trader know some math then it is good for trader. I think every trader know some simple math they can calculate pip value. In forex market if trader know some economic then it is very good for understanding fundamental news.

The knowledge of maths really helps like me until i applied the ordinary level phyiscs to my trading of gravity i was not making any profit.
i dun think that a good forex trader needs to have a good mathematical mind. anybody who can master the basic concept of forex trading can make it to the levels of professionals and it is not necessary for him to be a mathematician.
yes we need to make the calculation using the mathematic on the forex just like whne we want to count the pivot point , support and the resistance all of that thing on the forex business we need to make the calculation on it
