Trend line banay k liye aap ko apny chart per at least two highs ( down trend k liye) ya phir two lows ( uptrend k liye ) milana hota hai. Ye line zyada steep nahi honi chahye. Is line ko hum as a support/resistance line bhi use kar skty hain.

Well to get a clear idea regarding the market trend just observe the market price on larger time frame like daily time frame chart would be the best one. And then accordingly place the trade with the best entry level by viewing in the smaller time frame chart. You can also connect the lower lows and the higher highs of the candlestick bars to know the trend.
