Using Moving Averages to determine support and resistance.

Yes MA's are used widely in the programming of EA. It is easy to build the EA using Moving averages. As this indicator is very reliable if used combining with other indicators. It works will in trending market.

Actually, for now on, I do not trade with any indicators at all sometimes (most of time), and in my case, that works better even when I trade with some indicator in my chart. About MA, I think this indicator can be used as trend direction prediction tool and in other way also as a good dynamic support and ressistant.

I like to use Moving Average and parabolic SAR. Because with this two indicator i can easily catch trend line for enter on market. And i can make good profit with this indicator. And Moving Average are really wonderful old indicator.

yes i do feel MA is good indicator. At one one time i had use only two MA to trade, though the results were not up to my mark but it is good trading on the crossover of the two MAs. And its an example of simple strategy for a beginner on how to trade with a strategy

sorry to say that i use CCI indicator in my trade and i use 100 200 -100 - 200 for trading.So i do not know about the moving average indicator and used it ever.I can make profit with my CCI indicator easily.

moving any graph point or any point ratio can be measurable. But we may not control them all. Because graph point is not follow the average point range. But we may calculate some average point for make better analysis.

You can also use parabolic SAR with Moving average. With this two indicator you can easily get good idea about market. And with this you can easily make good profit from your trade.

I think MA is the best indicator we can use me prefer to use the MA to determine market trends as well as being able to identify support and resistance levels ...can someone help me how to customize the fit time MA (default is 14)
