if we are afraid, then we will not get anything. fear is normal, there must be some risk. but the important thing is how do we minimize risk and maximize profit. use good money management and do not use too high a target that is difficult for us to accomplish
this is a very good subject that talking about emotion of fear that many people suffer and this is one of the main reasons, where traders do not trade, they even have a better chance to make profits because they have already lost jobs and have emotions that are going to lose again.
yes I would say it is possible .when your trades are in negative position and trend indicates that it will continue in loss direction , so in order to fear of more loss one can close his orders keeping his loss at minimum due to fear.
No, fear cant save you from losses.. It will destroy you in the long run... because if you stop your trade after small profits then no strategy will work for you.. and again you will close your trade when your trade goes against you a little.. we need a use stop-loss and take profit target to minimize our risk as well as making profit.. if you dont give your trade enough space to breathe and close your trade sooner than it mature itself then you cant be a profitable trader at all..
you should not trade based on your feelings.l want to ask if you opened that position based on the signals from your indicators ,based on a strategy or you just feel that you should open one.that is the main reason you will afraid.the fear comes out not when you are in profit but when you are loosing.but if you were sure of your trade then you will not have to afraid.you may fail a few times but you will make more profit if you trade with a good strategy not with feelings.
Sometimes that instinct can be your best friend. Getting to a place where you can judge when fear can help you may just help you make better decisions and thus cutting the losses and increasing profits in trading.
Yes Fear is main reasons where traders do not put trade even they have better chances of making profits as they already have loss trades and they dear that they will lose again.
fear or overconfident is similar but different meaning, all is about the emotion and when the trader can not control them then they just place theirselves at the bad condition, they can not think with clear and always...careless thing will happen..
so ignore these feeling if the trader have made a good analysis then take a decision for it
After experience heavy loss any one can think like you that fear can be used to avoid loss. Sometime this also happened with me like you. But we should remain away from fear because it is a -ve emotion and no one can trade with fear. I also got profit with my brave decisions, In the case of loss I realize myself that it was a bad day for me.
