1. Charlottenburg Palace or also known as Schloss Charlottenburg is the largest palace in Berlin which was built in the late 17th century and developed greatly during the 18th century. The name Charlottenburg is taken from the name of the first Queen in Prussia, Sophie Charlotte.

The internal decoration of the palace is built very luxuriously, visitors can see Baroque style rooms, royal apartments, a collection of Chinese and Japanese porcelain and a New Wing with Rococo splendor. Apart from the attractive decoration, this palace is also surrounded by a large garden and also a forest which is located behind the palace where the palace garden is a major tourist attraction. This palace was badly damaged by World War II and was rebuilt in the 1950s.

2. Fernsehturm Berlin which means Berlin Television Tower, is one of the famous towers in Berlin. The Television Tower is located in the center of Berlin and is very close to Alexanderplatz. Fernsehturm Berlin was built between 1965 and 1969 by the German Democratic Republic which until now is considered a symbol of Berlin because it can be seen from the central district as well as the Berlin suburbs.


3. Fernsehturm Berlin has a height that reaches 365 meters and increases to 368 after being fitted with an antenna. With this height, Fernsehturm became the fourth tallest tower in Europe after the Ostankino Tower in Moscow, and the Kiev Television Tower and the Riga Television Tower. At 204 meters above the ground there is a platform designated for visitors from which visitors can see 42 kilometers of views on a clear day. Above this platform is also a restaurant that rotates once an hour, but accelerated after renovations in the 1990s to rotating every 30 minutes.


4. The Reichstag building is the German parliament building which is also one of Berlin's most historic tourist attractions and is located near the city center. Built in 1894 and renovated until its completion in 1999, this tourist destination in Berlin is still quite well maintained. The Reichstag building is very grand in Renaissance style, has a glass dome and an elevator. The transparent glass dome is the main destination for tourists because from there the whole view of Berlin can be seen clearly and under your feet you can also see the plenary courtroom which is located right under the dome.


5. Berlin Cathedral or also known as Berliner Dom is the largest Protestant Christian church in Berlin. Originally built in 1465 and finished in 1905. And yep, this building took approximately 440 years to build. this cathedral stands very majestic and graceful as well as classic Renaissance style and has a dome that hangs 70 meters above the center of the church. It is called a cathedral but Berlin Cathedral has never been a cathedral in a true sense because it is not yet the seat of a bishop, even so this cathedral is almost never empty of visitors.

6. Alte Nationalgalerie is an ancient national gallery in Berlin that exhibits collections of Neoclassical, Romantic, Biedermeier, Impressionist and Modernist art originally built between 1866 and 1876. The Alte Nationalgalerie is also one of the five museums that make up the ensemble known as Berlin's Museum Island (a UNESCO World Heritage site). After a thorough restoration, the museum reopened in 2001.
